During Maestro’s 40+ year’s history, it has always been able to offer a number of accessories to suit more readily our customers’ needs. In UK generally and many parts of Europe, although the potable water is clean and fit for purpose, invariably it has a taste of chlorine, the main chemical put there by the water companies to purify it.

Filters
Even when cooled to Maestro’s recommended temperature of 10˚C [50˚F], it can still be unpalatable. To overcome this problem, Maestro offers its ER4 carbon taste filter to eradicate this effect. It will also remove particles down as small as 0.5 microns. ER4 is NSF/WRAS approved and would be suitable for Maestro’s larger capacity water coolers of 20L/hr. and above.
The smaller capacity machines such as Euro series models and POU’s can take the AP4 filter that will last six month’s duty in normal conditions. Some water coolers, notably models NPF200, NPT300, JJ100 and JJ170 are offered with the AP4 fitted as standard.
In addition to regular filters that primarily improve water quality, there are others for special circumstances. The APS is particularly effective to control and contain calcium in hard water areas. There are also filters ER4H and AP4H for use in hot and cold machines.

Faucets
Although our pressure type models of the Euro, Wall-Mounted and Majestic series come fitted with a bubbler as standard, sometimes this does not suit a customer’s requirements. Maestro has always offered a glass filler, GF1, in addition or instead of the bubbler as an option. We do not recommend both faucets on any of the Euro series models as the basin is very compact.
With the advent of the use of water coolers more and more in schools and hospitals, often the need is to fill sports bottles. Maestro offers various options for such circumstances whether a carafe/bottle filler CF1 or vandal-resistant push back style VF1. We have now introduced our unique all-stainless steel heavy duty bottle filler HD1 which has a remote push button control. More recently, at the request of a local authority, we have modified this, HD2, to have a small dome on the outlet point, for fountains used outdoors.
Sometimes it is desirable to have the water cooler operated hands-free. To effect this, Maestro uses a Proximity Infra-Red, [PIR] assembly that will operate the flow of water on approach. Our local Area Manager will be able to advise which machine this is suitable for.
Our Hide-Away water coolers are supplied with glass filler GF1. However, sometimes it is necessary to have a long-stemmed glass filler, GF2. This can be fitted on a worktop that is deeper than normal.

 Outside
Spare cartridges for our bubbler and remote push button regulators are always available as replacements. For year round use of fountains outside, we recommend you specify a fountain with our exclusive Free-z-Free® assembly. This can be incorporated in to most wall-mounted drinking fountains. Your Area Manager will be pleased to advise as to suitability.

Cups
With POU, bottle coolers and Jubilee series machines, it is necessary to fill a cup or other vessel because of the style of faucet. Maestro offers 200ml [7oz] plastic cups as an option with these models as well as for that machine that have a goose-neck type faucet.
